Seminole has a council/city manager type of government. Our city government is responsive to the needs of citizens, visitors, and businesses. The City Council is made up of business people who understand customer service and have forged that vision for city staff to follow. The City of Seminole currently employs more than 95 people.
City Council generally meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held in the Goldie Barnett Conference Room in the Seminole Public Library.
